In my experience, Vietnamese communities in America have emphasized science and math over the visual and liberal arts due to generational fears surrounding immigration and the pursuit of the American Dream. This concern, common among many cultural and ethnic groups, stifles creative thinking and abilities. Artedify aims to counteract this by offering art education to elementary and middle school students, unlocking hidden talents, and fostering future artists and creative thinkers.
